POSITION DESCRIPTION
A. Position Purpose Statement
Select and manage the suppliers to get the competitive price, at the same time, handle the purchasing procedures and ensure the good quality and the speedy lead-time.
B. Major Accountabilities
1. Formulate reasonable purchasing procedure according to the companys regulations to meet the requirement of ISO9000 and financial system, ensure the purchasing activities to meet the requirement of Production, Marketing and Other departments of the company.
2. Take effort to reduce the purchasing cost and improve the purchasing efficiency to satisfy the customers.
3. To develop more competitive vendors.
4. Team continuous growth.
C. Key Issues/Problem Solving:
1. Analyze purchasing cost and sourcing cycle.
2. Explore qualified supplier to get competitive price.
3. Work with production, finance to achieve the purchasing targets.
4. Prepare and submit reports as required.
D. People Management Skills:
1. Good Negotiating skills (suppliers, customers, employees and contractors.)
2. Good interpersonal skills.
3. Self-motivated, able to organize and manage others
4. Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
5. Good communication skills with all levels of management.
E. Other Skills
Good English and Chinese written and spoken skills.
F. Capability
1. University degree or above
2. 5 years or above purchasing experience.
3. Has knowledge on ISO9000 is prefer.
